Our heritage

Antocks Lairn became part of the Ness Furniture Group in 2005 after more than 25 years of trading independently. Ness Furniture was established in 1945 by Frederick Corner, as a manufacturer of quality contract furniture for business.

Now employing approximately 200 people across two main factory sites, the Ness Furniture Group operates over 15,000sq metres with in-house joinery, upholstery, coating and warehousing facilities. We also operate our own large fleet of delivery vehicles including small vans, rigid and articulated wagons.

Antocks Lairn has long been known as a leading manufacturer of durable high-quality office and contract seating and tables at competitive prices. We designed and introduced the ‘iconic’ SKY chair which has been identified as a leading design piece and we continue to work with many emerging and established design names to introduce new and innovative products.
